EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Mrs. Damerow has a lifetime commitment to children and families. She earned her Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Education at the University of Florida. She worked as a student teacher in a kindergarten classroom in Melbourne. While earning her Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law she interned at the Law Offices of John Curran, P.A. and served as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Charles Roberts of the 18th Judicial Circuit Court Kelly served in multiple leadership roles while in law school, such as President of the Family Law Society, Board Member of Grad Cup, and a Student Ambassador. She was a member of the Law College Council, the Collaborative Professionals of Brevard, Florida Association of Women Lawyers, John Marshall Bar Association, Gators for Alternative Dispute Resolution. She graduated from law school with her Family Law and Pro Bono Certifications. After being admitted to the Florida Bar in 2011, she spent 5 years in Washington D.C., starting out as a Legal Fellow working her way up to Executive Director of an advocacy nonprofit, as well as being unanimously elected by fellow Executive Directors to serve as the Board President of a coalition of nonprofit organizations.

Mrs. Damerow is committed to giving back to her local community. She currently sits on the Advisory Board of the Children’s Hunger Project is a Committee Chair of the Junior League of South Brevard and a member of the Brevard County Bar Association. Before joining the firm in 2019, Kelly consulted for nonprofits around the country, helping new organizations obtain their nonprofit status and existing nonprofits operate according to best practices. Attorney Damerow shepherded multiple organizations and individuals through complex legal situations and minimizing liability. She is married with one daughter.
