Kenneth E. Rhoden, Esq.
Mr. Rhoden has over thirty three years of experience aggressively representing thousands of clients. He concentrates on family law and criminal defense. He graduated from The Florida State University College of Law in 1985 and has been practicing law in Brevard County since 1986.
Family Law: Ken has tried hundreds of family law cases including highly contested child custody, alimony and division of property issues. Mr. Rhoden has experience in divorces involving extensive property and assets, international property and international child custody issues, corporations, interstate relocation cases and appeals including appeals to the Florida Supreme Court that changed Florida Law.
Criminal Defense: Ken has tried hundreds of cases including Death Penalty trials, First Degree Murder, Capital Sexual Battery, Armed Robbery, Armed Sexual Battery, Burglary, Sale and Possession of Drugs, Violation of Probation and many other felonies and misdemeanors including DUI. Mr. Rhoden has obtained Not Guilty verdicts in multiple First Degree Murder Cases. And Mr. Rhoden is one of the few private attorneys in this area qualified by the Florida Supreme Court to try death penalty cases.
Teaching: Mr. Rhoden has lectured at Barry University School of Law, The Florida Institute of Technology, Brevard Community College and The Law Enforcement Academy. He has also shared his knowledge of the law through the Florida Supreme Court Justice Teaching Program, Divorce Recovery classes and presentations for The Women’s Center.
Community: Mr. Rhoden is active in the community and has been a Moot Court Juror, Community Judge for Senior Project Boards, Space Coast Tiger Bay Member, Space Coast Runners member, Rotary Club Member, Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce Member, Military Affairs Council Member, and Melbourne Regional Chamber of East Central Florida member. Mr. Rhoden is a strong supporter of current military personnel and veterans and serves as a volunteer with the American Veterans Empowerment Team (AVET). AVET provides services to local servicemen and women and veterans from all branches.
