Christina Farley Long practices in the areas of family law, personal injury, excessive force, insurance disputes, copyrights, trademarks, bankruptcy, probate, landlord/tenant, and criminal law. She graduated with her General Associates degree from Brevard Community College (now Eastern Florida State College) in May of 2004, her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Political Science from the University of Central Florida in May 2006, and her Juris Doctor degree from Barry University in May 2011. Mrs. Long was admitted to the Florida Bar in September 2011 and is a member of all three U.S. Federal District Courts in Florida, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the U.S. 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mrs. Long began working with Mario Gunde Peters & Kelley in 2014, pursuing an active practice where she primarily handles family law, personal injury, and excessive force matters. Before attending Barry University School of Law, Mrs. Long worked for the firm as a secretary for several years, gaining knowledge that has helped her become a strong advocate for her clients.
Prior to coming to Mario Gunde Peters & Kelley, Mrs. Long worked for a private firm handling insurance defense matters for several large insurance companies. This experience provided her with invaluable knowledge in dealing with personal injury and insurance disputes.
Mrs. Long is a member of the Brevard County Bar Association, the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, the Brevard County Veterans Pro Bono Legal Clinic, and an alumni member of the American Inns of Court. She volunteers as an Attorney Ad Litem for special needs children in Dependency Court, previously volunteered with the Orange County Teen Court Program as a Judge and Jury Advisor from 2012-2014, and was a member of the Central Florida Women’s Association of Lawyers, where she co-chaired the Angel Tree Committee and chaired the committee for gathering gifts for troops.
Mrs. Long has been named as a Rising Star through Super Lawyers each year from 2015 through 2021 and was named “Family Law Counsel of the Year” by Lawyers Monthly Magazine for 2021.
Mrs. Long is married to her wonderful husband, Tim, and is a mom to four amazing kids, four dogs, and three cats. She enjoys spending time with her family, attending church, exploring new places, and reading.
